About the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. 

The department hosts many cutting-edge research programs including Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physical Chemistry, Photochemistry,  Computational Chemistry, Materials, Energy Related Materials, and Environmental Chemistry. Research output has been published in high ranked journals such as Nature research journals, Science, ACS journals, PNAS, etc.
